Independent Cinema Office (ICO) Recruitment Campaign

A Campaign to Increase Diversity Behind the Camera.

The Independent Cinema Office (ICO) is on a mission is to develop an open, challenging and thriving film sector, as the UK’s national body in support of independent cinemas, film festivals and exhibitors of all forms.

I was approached to develop graphics for the ICO FEDS traineeship campaign, a programme that aims to diversify the film exhibition industry. It aims to bring the skills and perspectives of Black, Asian, ethnically diverse trainees and disabled trainees into the film industry, as these groups are currently underrepresented in the sector.

Spotlight on Diversity.

I created several creative routes for the campaign, from copywriting to visuals. On each my goal was to connect the themes of diversity and inclusion, to the film sector.

The option selected by the client featured a faux ticket-stub. From there this concept was developed into final artwork across print and digital executions.
